Omar Abed: Hello, my name is Omar Abed, or Omar Abed, if you're saying it with an Arabic accent. My family is Palestinian. We come from the city of Al-Birah in the West Bank, Palestine, and the Abed clan is one of the five major clans from that area.

I'm very proud of my name. The word Abed directly translates to slave, which sounds jarring at first, but it really means like a slave of God or a worshiper of God, which I always appreciated.
