Stuart J. Murphy: Hello. My name is Stuart J. Murphy. I always use the J just because I kind of like it. I'm often asked what the J stands for. I tell people to guess. It turns out there are lots of male names that begin with J. Joseph, Jason, Jacob, Jeremy. I could go on. My J is for John. I'm happy with the name Stuart, because while there are lots of Murphies in the world, there aren't too many Stuarts around. Stuart Little is the one that everyone thinks of. Stuart can be spelled two different ways. S-T-U-A-R-T, like I spell it, or S-T-E-W-A-R-T. The nickname for Stuart is "Stu," and when I was very young, I was even called Stewie sometimes. But now, most people call me Stuart, and I'm happy with that.
