Devin Scillian: Well, my name is Devin Scillian, and it's a little bit of a mouthful. I tell people it rhymes with seven million. But it's really interesting, Devin has become a pretty common name. I'm the oldest Devin that I know, born in 1963, and my parents, at the time, were going back and forth. My father wanted to name me Darren and my mother wanted to name me Kevin. They put the two together and came up with Devin and then realized that there was a Devon, England and they liked the ring of that. And I have always really loved having my name, especially as I became a writer and realized that Devin is actually Celtic for poet. That worked out fairly well.
